June 24, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- Domino's pizza makers vie for the title and a $5,000 prize Dough will fly as 18 finalists from around the world compete for the title of World's Fastest Pizza Maker and a $5,000 prize on Tuesday, June 24, in the Towsley Auditorium on the campus of Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Mich.

In Domino's 22nd competition, the best and fastest pizza makers hail from the United States, India, the United Kingdom and Canada. Competitors, often making perfect pizzas in less than 30 seconds, will be challenged to hand-stretch fresh dough, sauce and top three large pizzas in record time as judges inspect each detail. Domino's began the World's Fastest Pizza Maker competition in 1982 to honor pizza makers who best exemplify the company's philosophy of keeping efficiency in the store to allow sufficient time for safe, timely pizza delivery.
