Denver Franchisee Inducted into Chairman's Circle Hall of Fame

June 2, 2003

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 2, 2003 – Jeffrey Litman, owner of 22 Domino's Pizza stores in the Denver, CO area, was recently presented with the most prestigious award given by Domino's Pizza – The Chairman's Circle honor – at the company's annual awards ceremony in Las Vegas.

Domino's Pizza Chairman and CEO Dave Brandon introduced this award in 2001 to honor world-class franchisees and to recognize the longevity, growth and leadership of the franchise. Such franchisees help teach, sponsor and spread the Domino's commitment to fellow franchisees as well.

"Jeff Litman is truly an exceptional Domino's franchisee," said Brandon. "For three decades, he has been committed to moving his business forward while at the same time helping to build the Domino's brand and system. He has been instrumental in the growth and development of so many Domino's franchisees.  Jeff is an inspiration to all of us."

After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Litman was employed as a banker when he became interested in the pizza business. He met Domino's Franchisee Mike Paul when helping him find a location for his new Domino's store. He started working in one of his stores and became a sub-franchisee under Paul. Litman soon opened his first Domino's store in New Hope, MN.

In 1976, he headed to Denver to open the first Domino's stores in that market, followed by 10 more store openings throughout the 1980s. Today, Litman owns 22 Domino's stores, employs 500 team members and has $16 million in annual sales.

"I am thrilled to receive this honor," said Litman. "Working for Domino's for the past 30 years has been thrilling and invigorating, as we are constantly setting higher goals for ourselves, and reaching them. I believe Domino's best days are still ahead, and I am excited to see what the next 20 years will bring."

In addition, Litman is extremely involved in the future of Domino's. He recently signed Domino's on as the title sponsor of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Colorado's Half-Marathon in Cherry Creek State Park, supporting Domino's national connection to the wish-granting organization.
